Dr. Edward D. McCoul graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, received his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine–here he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society–and also holds graduate degrees in Pharmacology and Public Health from Tulane University. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology at the State University of New York–Downstate Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, NY, and received fellowship training in Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY.

Dr. McCoul is Board Certified in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and Fellowship-Trained in Rhinology and Sinus Surgery. He has authored many research papers and has presented at national and international meetings.

Dr. McCoul holds membership in organizations such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society.

He has special expertise in the use of endoscopic technology to treat diseases of the nose and sinuses, and has comprehensive training in the treatment of diseases of the ear, nose and throat, as well as head and neck surgery, in both adults and children.
